Florida Water

Florida water is traditionally made of aromatic herbs and flowers plus citrus and alcohol with essential oils and was originally just a perfume. Today it is used for protection, blessing, cleansing, and it attracts good wealth. 

Some traditions substitute this in place of holy water, and it can be used as an offering to ancestors, spirits, and deities.

Florida water also opens up sensitivity emotionally and removes harmful energies. Some people claim that it removes headaches and ailments.

Ways that you can use it include:

-Spraying it around your room for protection/cleansing

-Casting a circle with it

-Creating a potion for topical uses (depending on what is put in the water)

-Adding it to a cleansing bath

-Anointing and/or dressing things with it such as yourself, candles, talismans, and amulets
