I am once again in the minority. Surprise surprise, the narrator said sarcastically. My expectations were sleeping regarding Eddie and Buddie screentime for 6B and rn they want a vacation, like they haven't slept enough. I am not that hopeless though. I got the impression that Eddie's dating part to be a comic relief. A speed dating maybe? How original... 🥱 Also I must say I loved the May and Chimney parts of the episode.

Next week it seems Chris is there by Buck's bed side with Hen? I mean Oliver said Aisha is there or something. No offence to Hen but why not Eddie? Anyway, at least we had/are gonna have some reaction from Eddie, mostly thanks to RG, i guess.

Even though i would love LH to be canon both romanticaly and platonicaly and in every other possible way, sometimes i feel Yams just wrote all those interactions in 115, 126, 132 without Any intention of making it so. He left it Way too open for interpretation and even though my logic says that all of those details (the parallels to EM, the とは particle, Hange's confession and a blush and later comparison to Jean and other people who wanted to live with their loved ones for their own sake etc) can't be just coincidetal and meaningless, there is a tiny voice in my mind saying i am expecting too much from a writer who kept disappointing me as a reader time and time again and that maybe me and my confirmation bias has convinced me that there is a romantic context where there is none and it makes me deeply sad, but also....

I don't really care? Like... LH is so great that i will keep loving it no matter what.

i think part of what bored me with guzn*dia this season is that their main "conflict" felt like a weak rehash of omander's conflict, in terms of not being able to be together because of parents/culture. and like, they're straight so it's just not as hard for them, period.

I will say that I didn’t think about that, though now that you say it it makes sense. I personally felt that Nadia was a bit all over the place with Guzman. She kissed him, then she told him they couldn’t be together and they had sex and she left. Like this felt like the same thing as last season too, they didn’t seem to actually grow. They felt stuck in the same motions, doing the same things over and over again and having the same conversations over and over again. And I felt like we had seen this last season already, I wanted something new for them.

There was also the cheating thing, which was distasteful. Like they didn’t really address it. Nadia said once something about not letting Guzman cheat on his gf with her or something but that’s all I can think of. Guzman didn’t even think it was necessary to break up with Lu until Nadia started to pull away from him. Idk man, Lu sucks but cheating is not ok. 

And I don’t understand how the show handled Ander’s actions so well but then stumbled with Nadia and Guzman re: the cheating. 

I will say that unfortunately, this season made me like them as a couple a lot less. I mean I still love Nadia as a character and tbh the only reason I ever liked Guzman was because he loves Nadia and because he cared about Ander (now that’s gone)... so.... yeah...

zoinks my mood’s been up today, but right as i was gonna upload the aesthetics, i got sad?? i’m feeling really off and i’m not sure why.

i’m looking forward to the time when i don’t feel bad about the things that i do.

i planned to meet friends that i haven’t seen in a while (one tomorrow and one the day after that) so in preparation i had a quiet day today, but i feel so bad for it.

like, i know i’m autistic + ill but it still feels bad and i’m so sick of sitting down, y’know? i’m looking forward to being in a place where i have more clarity about all of this + can work around it better. just holding out for some progress

i always wear a light jacket or a hoodie to school but today was really hot so i decided to take it off in class right.. and i was nervous at first because it’s been months since i’ve done it but the skin is still healing but i figured it wasn’t THAT bad. 

then like.. 15 minutes later as I was walking around the class because we were put into groups, one of my classmate asked what happened to my arm and i said “buddy those are birth marks” and he’s like “oh okay haha thought you did something” and im like :))

i thought they weren’t that noticeable but it’s visible enough for someone to comment on it i guess

I guess I'm in the minority of not liking the season finale much. Yeah, Henren content was awesome. Seriously, just let me to hug Karen, my woman! Yeah, Bobby and Eddie talk was high quality. I always loved their thing. I thought maybe Eddie was gonna mention their first meeting and why he came to 118 or something. He kinda did when he told Bobby saved him and his son. You just need to fill in the blanks offscreen AHAH! They really did a good job with Eddie this season. Kudos to that. Buddie once again had their little lovely moment and parallels but again no hug dammit!

Now the negatives. Yeah Buck is finally free, good. I just still can't believe Buck's all personal arc in season 5 is about breaking up with Taylor. It's proven once again his thing with Lucy was pointless. They made it about Bobby, right? And yeah, Bathena is in a good place, Maddie came back to work, Madney is in a good place, Eddie came back... It's all good but it all feels rushed. Did we need to spend that screen time for the couple's montage for example? I mean they were cute but... Also no mention of Chimney almost dying, so I assume they left it for next season maybe.

5b was better than 5a for sure. Does that mean the whole season 5 is good? Uhhmm not so sure. Season 6 please be better. Gimme a Buddie date and Diaz boys having fun outside without any drama. Gimme more of Eddie, Linda, May thing, more Henren and Madney, Bathena working together. More Eddie, Buckley-Diaz family, good quality Buck content, Eddie, Buddie, Diaz boys and more Eddie. Eddie as a social media influencer? An episode from Christopher's pov? Yeah. It seems the original plan is/was to add Lucy as a new character/love interest. Now it's either they are reconsidering it or just playing with us to stop negativity. We will see.

My heart is officially broken. Eddie Diaz did it. The therapy scene, the breakdown, the voice, the body language, the moment he said he is afraid of never feeling normal again... Ryan made a masterpiece from his limited screen time.

I was hoping the breakdown would be related to some bad news from one of his army buddies but really wasn't expecting to hear all of his chopper friends are dead. Full circle... Trauma of the traumatic traumas! The guy really broke everything down in his breakdown. I am glad this arc not finished yet. One of the best things happened in this show. I wish Chris was away from all this mess. The kid just was feeling better and bam back to beginning. I wanna see some more healthy communication between Diaz boys. It feels good to see Buck is there for them. Nobody does it like Buddie. Buck used his key? Broke Eddie's door? BUT FOR SOME UNREASONABLE REASON, DID NOT HUG EDDIE? Next? Is he gonna pull a Josh, like he did with Maddie? Call the people he saved and show Eddie he is worthy? Just a theory. I would rather something personal like... I don't know... give him A HUG maybe!

Maddie's journey, Buckley reunion, Chim and Hen, Ravi... Good to see them in the same episode again. The rest is pfft. Still questioning why they thought the cheating arc is good. It's msyngonstic and ruining Buck for some people. Most of 5b interviews suggest that the conclusion will be in 5x17-18. I'm just gonna ignore it then.
