pilvi, i have a genuine question: why are you anti endo? i’m just fine with your stance and frankly don’t care to have a conversation or debate about it with you as i believe we can remain friends and respect each other without needing to talk about it, i’m just curious. you also absolutely do not have to answer this!!
first off, thank you for being respectful with the question and respecting my stance.
secondly, I am anti endo because of the harm endogenic systems can and have caused. they have tried to get us removed from the DSM, which is not okay. i am also anti endo because of the misinformation they spread. the reason systemhood happens is because the child mind can not fully integrate due to trauma, causing splits in the childs mind. it is trauma based, and i do not believe that can happen without that trauma, since the trauma is the root of how the mind splits into multiple, for lack of a better word, personalities. it is not an identity and can not be compared to alterhumans and/or queer/trans people. alterhumans, queer, and trans people identities do not stem from a disorder. i also am anti endo because there is no proof endogenic systems exist. if someone were to show me actual proof thats not a random post, a very outdated and disproved article, or a taken out of context statement, i would gladly change my stance, but I need facts, where there just are none. I am also anti endo because of the harm endogenics have caused ME. before i knew i was a system and had DID, I "identified" as a polymind, and that hindered me in getting the help and rescorces i needed for a long time. people who have DID, OSDD, P-DID, ect. can see these who identify as endo and think "well, its just an identity!" and not get the help and rescorces they need just as I did.
thirdly, i also believe we can continue to be friends and respect eachother. ive learned that theres gonna be people in my life who dont have the same views as i do, and thats fine. I see you as a full person, not just your views on one topic.
fourthly, im sorry for any typos and grammatical issues i may have made. im not too good with my words sometimes, especially on more serious topics (im also dyslexic and i mix up my words sometimes.), so apologies for that.
