Oh, this is...! ...I. I don't want this. I don't know if I can take care of this thing. I'll give it to Seth. They're more knowledgeable.

Pain clung to the edges of their mind as their consciousness returned just as they were dropped heavily into a chair. They were aware of hands holding them upright as they tried to get their bearings, hands pushing against their chest, a hand fisted in their hair. They heard themself moan as they struggled to regain control of their own body so the many hands would let them go.
"No," they heard the strain in there own voice, a thread of panic lacing through their body as their arms were pulled back behind them and bound tightly to the chair.
Someone lightly slapped their cheek as their vision began to clear, awareness seeping in through the fog and all their focus immediately landing on the odd sensation of wrongness in their leg outstretched before them.
Whumpee looked down, their knee was hot and swollen. It looked painful. It was painful. Bending it would be impossible. They were pretty sure it was dislocated in the least, but probably broken. It started to ache, or at least Whumpee finally became aware of the ache, a deep agonizing fire that throbbed angrier and angrier with each heartbeat.
They watched absently, carefully pulling in every breath to keep the nausea at bay, as their captors finished binding their other leg to the chair.
Then they moved on to the right-
Wait.
Whumpee sat as straight as they were able, the bile clinging to the back of their throat tasting like fear itself.
They wouldn't.
One of their captors wrapped their hand around Whumpee's ankle.
"Wait," Whumpee's voice broke against the plea, "My knee- I think it's broken."
The captor paused for only a moment, a glint of something terrifying flashing in their eyes before they braced their other hand just above the too warm, swollen flesh of Whumpee's broken knee.
Words failed them. All coherent thought slipped from their mind and they watched in horror as their captor began to drag their ankle back to the leg of the chair.
Their vision flashed to white as pain engulfed their body like a raging, living fire. They grunted through their teeth and closed their eyes against the pain as their leg was forcefully bent, dropping their head back, they opened their mouth, opened their lungs, and screamed. The sound was almost inhuman even to their own ears.
They could feel bones shifting under muscle and skin, they could hear it deep within their body. An awful grinding sound that scraped across their brain before a pop rang through their skull, jarring their body where they sat. They gasped in a shocked, horrified breath and turned to their left, emptying nothing but bile onto the floor.
Their mouth watered endlessly and tears streamed down their face as their leg was forced to bend even further. Their entire body panicked, struggling against the ropes that bound them in place, they searched the room with a desperate pleading in their eyes, looking for help, for relief, for precious air that they desperately sucked into their lungs between screaming, gasping breaths.
It felt as if an eternity had passed before their captor finally managed to force Whumpee's ankle flush with the chair and bound it securely in place.
Once finished, they patted Whumpee's knee, almost playfully.
"There, that wasn't so bad."
Whumpee's entire body was shaking, too hot and too cold at the same time. They could do nothing but stare in what must have been shock at their unnaturally bent, broken knee, a large bump protruding too far from the side then was supposed to be possible.
Alarm bells screamed in their mind. The wrongness again washed through Whumpee's mind and wrapped itself around their knee, tight and heavy, with a feeling of an almost thick emptiness that Whumpee's pain soaked, panicked mind couldn't quite comprehend. They could feel their body's desperate desire to stretch their leg out, to pop the offending bone back to where it belonged.
Whumpee tried, only once, to push against their bonds. They couldn't help it. The need was far too strong to fix what was so clearly broken.
They wouldn't try again.
The sound of laughter grated against Whumpee's ears as they whimpered pitifully and fought to control the agony that seared up their leg and buried itself relentlessly, further and further into their bones.
A hand touched Whumpee's chin and they let their head be lifted up. They roughly sucked air into their lungs through pain clenched teeth as their eyes met the cruel gaze of the captor that had pinned their broken leg in place.
"Well," their captor said, the whites of their teeth flashing from their barely contained grin, "Now, we have a few questions for you."
Thought about drawing the lovely Yoru, by @alexandervovich… So, in true Mayhem fashion, drew him rather brightly colored!
(I hope a sketch suffices; your artwork always so charming, and so SO wonderful to have on my dash, it always makes me happy seeing it! I hope I drew him okay; I love his design so so much. He looks fun to hang out with!)
Base Under the Cut!
I can’t believe we finally got their first meeting!!!!!!!!!
This is for you.
