dear people of the united kingdom: if you’ve ever hired any kind of tradesman to work on your house (roofing, plumbing, bricklaying, general building etc) I need you to know, as a person who works in a corner shop, they all drink on their lunch breaks.
if it is the afternoon your roofer was sat round the corner in his van chugging a can of stella. your sparky was throwing back cans of g&t with his ham and cheese baguette I’m sorry
#I’ve never felt less self conscious than f the amount I drink than I do now#like there are so many actual severe alcoholics in that area and I don’t wanna dox myself but it’s a pretty nice area too like not the kinda#place you’d expect it really but goddamn. don’t drink and drive kids but most importantly don’t drink and operate power tools or climb#a ladder
