Bright lights drowning out everything else. Soft beeps. Strange smells; sharp scents, tickling their nose. Their eyes acclimatize. A familiar face swims into focus. Cold eyes taking them in, hungrily. The beeps go faster, their body responding before their brain can even catch on. They reach up to rub their eyes, but something cold and unyielding stops them. The metal around their wrists rattles harder as their efforts increase. A sharp prick in their elbow. Fog fills their mind. And the world turns black again.

I think I've already said this, but I'll say it again.

A little headcanon I have for Dark Cacao cookie, is that, out of all the ancients except Lily, It's just that he's one of those who is "worse" emotionally speaking. Like, he bottles all of his frustrations and negative stuff up, and then, just explodes. Afterwards, he'll most likely have a headache and Give the cold shoulder to everyone who cares about him or tries to help him. Because, he just doesn't know how to handle it and needs ｓｐａｃｅ if you'd mind.

With this, I'm not implying that the other ancients don't have it bad either, I just have difficulties trying to analyze them since... I don't really like or care about the other ancients as much as I do with DCC because, surprise surprise, I like projecting myself sometimes. ᴬᵍᵃᶦⁿ, ˢᵒʳʳʸ.
