The August 21 Eclipse is a Prediction
Using science, we *think* there will be an eclipse. We're pretty sure. Probably. Our best calculations say the moon should block out the sun for a little while that day. Of course, it might not. We could be totally wrong, and nothing spectacular will happen. Millions of people will have traveled for nothing. Using science, we *think* human-accelerated climate change is happening. We're pretty sure. Probably. Our best calculations say the massive industrial release of heat trapping gases is causing the planet's climate to shift little by little. Of course, it might not be. We could be totally wrong, and nothing spectacular will happen. Millions of clean energy programs and more efficient alternatives will have been developed for nothing. Science, people. There's nothing that says an eclipse is about to happen. We're just pretty sure.
