I just really really hope that Supernatural does not become the next catchall phrase for a bad ending.

Writers joking about GoT endings better be damned sure they aren’t making the next:

“Wow, that sucked so hard people are going to measure future crap endings against it.”

I mean it’s all very well and funny to say “GoT ending heh hehheh”

But it’ll slap different if at the end of next season, some other show is joking that it’ll end “supernatural style... hah hah, just kidding we’d NEVER do that to you.”
