It was quite obvious when someone had powers.  They usually had some sort of mark, or dressed differently.  Just like how this girl had wings.  Giant bird wings that sort of reminded her of Hawkgirl.

What was not obvious however, was which side they were fighting for.  And that made her cautious, despite her young age.

A Nudge

Have you ever considered what a nudge can not only be, but become?

A nudge can be the simplest judge of character. When you bump into someone, do they apologize or do turn enraged?

A nudge can be the sign you were waiting for. A light punch upon your arm, as you realize it was just a farce to feel your skin against theirs.

A nudge can be the signal to begin. A horn honking when you are daydreaming as the light turns green. 

A nudge can be the sense to move on, buck up, hunker down, slide over, slip under, creep around.

A nudge can be the slightest feeling, or a grand display.

A nudge doesn't have to be physical -- Only felt.
