what is it gonna take for me to motivate animation fans to watch tom and jerry: a nutcracker tale on cartoon network???

Saw the Nostalgia Critic's review of Tom & Jerry: A Nutcracker Tale and decided to watch the film myself to see what it was like.

While I admit the plot was a bit threadbare, you don't watch a Tom & Jerry cartoon for the plot. You just want to watch Tom get wailed on and scream in pain. And there was a lot of that.

Furthermore, I respect the movie for not doing a re-hash of the Nutcracker, but instead choosing to embrace its own identity and tell an original story. This might make the title rather redundant, but it comes from the film's soundtrack being taken directly from the score of the original ballet.

...And to be fair, a story where the rodents are the bad guys would be hard to pull off given Jerry's role as the protagonist.
