Echo was experimenting with making ocarinas and whistles, and this early prototype I turned into a little fat bird! It makes a delightful, single note toot-toot. Mostly I am still giggling at the tiny little bird feet.
Fat little toot-toot bird is available.

What do you think about the new killer that might come out for, for bacon named: flowers (I think)
flowers is pretty cool idk, i like how the spectre did not choose to bring it here
I’ve said before that my parents have a whistle but today I realized how deep my Pavlovian response to it is.
I was at work finishing up with a delightful queer couple. They left and I was lounging back in my chair, ready to zone out at my phone when I heard my mom whistle. I could not see my mom. I had no reason to think my mom was there. I’m an adult who hasn’t needed to be called in decades. But I was up and moving out of my chair instantaneously because mom whistled for me.
As I rounded the corner I saw my mom holding a bag of apples she’d brought for me, and all my coworkers looking incredibly impressed with her for being able to summon me so immediately.
