one of my favourite things about the production of bly manor is the careful curation of dani's closet. she had her bag and her giant backpack with her to bly and that's all she brought. she has a defined set of clothes. she rewears clothes with different outfits. she brought 4 pairs of trousers and she shifts between those 4 and only those. 1 pair we even see that she's worn for years and years because she wore them back in america as well. she wears a hoodie a couple of times and it's always the same one. some days we've seen every part of her outfit in another outfit. it doesn't just make dani a more defined personality but it also makes her a much more real person. she isn't an actress that's given an outfit when she arrives on set, she's a woman who packed her backpack full of her clothes and wears them
