just watched the eden mv by hozier and i was thinking instead of supercorp bonnie & clyde moment with their child what if kara is an officer investigating the kidnapping and crimes of lena luthor and her husband and she's been chasing the couple ever since they started robbing banks and whatnot. kara cant explain why she is drawn to this case specifically and why she's doing everything she can to catch these fugitives/criminals especially knowing now that a child is involve during said crimes. so she keeps chasing them and she always almost catches them but never quiet however one time she has lena cornered and its revealed that lena and kara used to date and kara refuses to believe lena has become this person who commits heinous crimes and kills people bc that's not the lena that she knows. lena tells her that her husband is forcing her to commit all these crimes bc he's threatening to hurt their child if she doesn't or tries to escape and she will do everything she can to protect her child and knowing this, kara lets her escape but every time they rob gasoline station, banks, or convenience store kara is one step ahead and creates a way so that she can talk to lena to create a plan to free them both safely. so now kara is trapped between forced to capture both criminals especially lena by any means necessary while protecting them both making sure they're both safe and this is too angst for my fragile heart but like you can totally see it right?
