yayyy agent of chaos!! i’ll do top 5 races of 2024 with the benefit of hindsight:

Le Mans: first known sighting of marc the comeback king in 2024. 13th on the grid to 2nd in both races. made a lunge on pecco all the way from the mulsanne straight on the last lap. plus his start on the saturday was 🤌

Barcelona 1: another marc comeback for the ages. most cursed sprint race of all time with 4? leaders crashing out. aleix retirement party on the podium. marc getting manhandled like the tiny man he is.

Misano 1: real ‘what the hell sure’ sunday race. after aragon nothing could make me anxious ever again so this might as well happen. wet race chaos, bad tyre choices, shoutout to neil hodgson’s absolutely devastated cry of ‘this is a mistake!!!’ as jorge pulled into the pits. 11/10 enjoyed.

Jerez: marc poleeee (the sprint didn’t happen shh). great battle for the lead. rubbing is racing babey!! plus retroactive dani sprint podium ✨

Philip Island: genuinely didn’t expect marc to win in the first place and neither did his visor strip i guess. genuinely nearly slammed my laptop shut and went back to sleep. masterful demonstration of fast bike vs fast rider in the end.
