For anyone who wants to know what the TV show ‘South Of Nowhere’ was all about and why it is so groundbreaking for its time, here is a retrospective.
There’s very few drama shows I watch because I prefer the balance of comedy and drama and I especially don’t watch teen drama shows. But this one is very special as it’s about the stuff I want to see all TV shows focus on in its storytelling and representation. This one puts those themes and storylines front and center rather than puts them in the background as side stories because the flawed argument is that anything LGBTQ+POC ruins the show and that’s often why they get cancelled. But this show actually proves that those themes and stories are what can make a show thrive and that argument is unfounded because it’s the writing and the acting that is what makes the difference, not the content it’s about.
So enjoy this short retrospective because it is on point.

Not gonna lie, TK peaked when he asked a guy who's not medically cleared to work a match (that you're only booking for the ego of the other man involved in it, who you btw gave your main title belt to hold while he wasn't even under contract for you) with the reasoning that it's only a squash match, when the guy not yet cleared is the fucking guy getting squashed.
