Reading people talking about evolved, I think most people are confusing "execution difficulty" (how hard you have to piano your keyboard to get the right combination) and "choice difficulty" (how many microdecisions you have to take on the fly to perform well)

#a shadow's rambles #essentially yes evolved mode will do away with a lot of execution difficulty simply because there are less buttons #but their aim seems to be trying to heighten choice difficulty #how successful will they be? Hard to say at this point #but confusing both types of difficulty is muddling the conversation #I like pictomancer because it's full of microdecisions with how it handles its dps and mobility so if they do a good job I think i'll adjus #just fine

Shocking reveal that I'm not much of a shipper and, barring some exceptions, I'm the kinda person who will attach herself to the most compelling platonic dynamic I can find.

#a shadow's rambles #Make Your Own Protagonist storylines are usually where the exception to the rule happens #and even that isn't 100% of the time #But they're usually the ones that get me invested enough in a relationship as a romance to *ship*#Anyway Coco's development is heartbreaking #She's losing her innocence so fast and working to not let that destroy her #And honestly? I kinda relate to her #I also realized how ugly humanity is way too young and had to work through that to not let it consume me and make me someone terrible #Very special character to me

Temptative positivity about the new battle systems for Evercold. I have some concerns, yes, but I feel a lot of the core things they're trying to do are fine.
