Today's Andi Mack brought the upset Andi that was definitely needed. Since the reveal in the pilot, it's mostly been relatively smooth sailing for her (in regards to the family reveal plot). But finding out your 'sister' is your mom and that you actually have a dad you didn't know about is a pretty big deal, especially if you're an emotional teenager. Bex, at least, has been in her life before so I can see how she would be able to feel like she was adjusting to that, but Bowie is entirely new, so I think it was realistic and refreshing to see them struggle to adjust. Also.......they're handling the Cyrus stuff perfectly omg. Even though it's been like 13 years since I was their age...tonight's episode, with the whole "am I girly" plotline was giving me major flashbacks to middle school when my best friend was figuring out his identity and sexuality.
