My autism service dog, Eevee the black Labrador retriever, will be OFFICIALLY retiring sometime in the fall. We just got word that classes for DogGuides Canada (The Lions Foundation) will resume in their current building (They’re moving eventually though). We’re getting a successor dog in the fall (I refuse to call them a “Replacement”) and we have no idea if they’ll be male or female, a poodle, golden retriever or another Labrador! We won’t know until we meet them at the beginning of training! Eevee will remain with us until she passes on and my account name on here won’t change, not when she retires completely nor when the new dog arrives (I think it will always be eeveeas123). I’ll post pictures of the new family member when I receive one or take one myself!

I'm a transgender man and autistic and I also have ADHD. I live in a Christian community and country where people like me face significant discrimination, hardships and violence. Companies where I'm at won't hire someone like me simply because I'm trans and autistic. I have now turned to writing and creating content as well as services like social media manager. I use my life experiences to speak out. As a former Christian, I now speak openly about the harmful effects of Christianity and the impact it can have on people. I recently moved into social housing after being in a Christian shelter for 10 months after my former landlord try to kill me and broke the law. I'm trying to thrive and not just survive and I'm trying to find my feet. By being a member you equip me to do more, advocate and provide for myself. The purpose of the discord server is to build community and be able to share without fear. I also want to offer more perks for my monthly members and this is easy acces. This also gives members and opportunity to share what they want and what they want to see and it gives everyone a safe space. It also gives those who don't want to be on all social media platforms a chance to not miss out on important information.

For so long I have felt like I had no purpose in life but I believe I can make a difference by using my voice.

After a month of using a visible band, here's the mini-review nobody asked for: Super validating to see exactly what is stealing my energy, and my cardiologist has used some of the data to help him confirm my pots/orthostatic intolerance diagnosis. Pacepoints are gradually getting more accurate, it's been worth sticking with it while it builds up data on my 'normal' for sure. Got the beta test access to the overnight stability score and that's gotten real accurate now, whereas the morning scores were a bit hit or miss. For someone with poor interoception it's been great to have the data there in front of me rather than going off of vibes

Why are you putting your child online? When we are having lawsuits over whether or not undressing ai qualifies as CSAM. Why are we filming him when you could be doing literally anything else? Why isnt his face blurred? Why is his helmet taken off in the beginning? Are you monetising this? Is filming a child self harming helpful to anyone? What about his consent to being put online?

Lastly, I dont believe this is educational content. Unless you show how you help, work through it, or some type of coping then you are just posting videos of your child with SH stims. I get autism awareness month but she posts him constantly and ive seen multiple videos of him hurting himself go semi viral. She also has exclusive content on her page.

Meltdowns ARE NOT a choice! People don’t do them on purpose! They’re a state of overwhelming emotions that can take over! If you think meltdowns are just excuse terms for tantrums, read carefully:

I’m confident I’m not alone in feeling that intensity, I usually don’t feel like hurting myself but during a meltdown? Stress and anxiety take over logical thoughts, it can feel hopeless in that moment but when I’m “Finished” with having a meltdown I usually don’t contemplate su!c!de. That’s how powerful a meltdown can be!

If you see someone having one, don’t film, don’t try to reason, don’t punish and don’t push it in their face hours later (Family and friends unfortunately do that in some circles). We’re not brats or monsters, we’re struggling with something most people don’t understand or validate…
