Spotlight: A-Babies

By now you might be asking, okay, this has been nice and all, but isn’t there a nice, short universe where both Steve and Tony exist at the same time and nobody dies horribly and everything is fine? and this is @sadisticsparkle coming to tell you that, actually, there are several! But today, we’re talking about the cutest of them all — Little Marvel!

Little Marvel is the brainchild of Skottie Young, beginning in 2012 with one issue of A-Babies vs. X-Babies and then following in 2015 with the four-issue Giant-Size Little Marvel. Set in Marville, this is a silly universe where everybody is a kid — and we do mean everybody, including Galactus —.

The Avengers and the X-Men are rival gangs that live on the same street and get into trouble all the time. Sometimes Cyclops steals Bucky Bear and the Avengers have to go get him back. Sometimes they have a Marvel ball competition that ends in explosions, but it always ends just before bedtime.

And what about our central duo? Well, Tony is a billionaire baby with armor, daddy issues, and a goatee. Steve is the same as ever: a fearless leader who enjoys running laps and yelling at people to be the best they can be, who then pouts because nobody wants to join him in Boot Camp USA. Tony always has Steve’s back whenever he wants to show Scott who’s the boss.

So if all that sadness isn't your style, come on, join us in Marville!
