A U.S. Navy aircraft from Carrier Air Wing 11 (CVW-11) in flight in 1974. CVW-11 was assigned to the aircraft carrier USS Kitty Hawk (CV-63) and was the first CVW to incorporate the anti-submarine squadrons (VS/HS) in 1974. Visible are four aircraft each (clockwise from the top): LTV A-7E Corsair II from Attack Squadron VA-195 Dambusters; McDonnell Douglas F-4J Phantom II from Fighter Squadron VF-114 Aardvarks; Grumman A-6A from VA-52 Knightriders; F-4J from VF-213 Black Lions; A-7E from VA-192 Golden Dragons.
