peter swore he heard something. it was convincing enough that he stopped. he looked back, craning his neck. but there didn't seem to be anything or anyone there. maybe he was just paranoid. he was hoping that he was just being paranoid. maybe it was a squirrel that fell out of a tree. though he'd probably hear an ow if it was one of those. "i didn't see anyone else come with us. did you?" they knew peter snuck out sometimes to be alone. maybe they sent someone to make sure he was safe. he wouldn't be surprised.

he was in charge of karaoke night. it was on his schedule he was in charge of guest activities for the night. but no one really seemed to show up. when he saw anyone walk through the door, he finally stood up behind his makeshift dj booth as the disco ball lights were still spinning around the room. "i've been at this for an hour and one group came in." and it was the worst cover of poker face he's ever heard. "did you see anyone coming over here?"

Mira had just left a clothing store with a few bags, having decided to splurge herself for the day. Upon leaving, she stumbled upon a woman she hadn't seen before. "You've got a pretty style." She told her. "Are you new to the area?" Considering, she was just planning to be out and about, Mira figured trying to make small talk with a pretty lady would be a nice way to spend the day.
