So this is Hiroshima. I am having problems putting into words what I felt when I was there and nothing I can say will be able to capture those feelings. I would have loved to post things besides the awful history that is always connected to Hiroshima but, it would have just felt wrong. Hiroshima has made the whole city a monument for the victims fallen on August 6, 1945 when the first atomic bomb was dropped on the unknowing and innocent people of Hiroshima. Above is the A-Dome, the Peace Memorial Flame and Park and statues representing some of the many victims who were able to tell their story. 70.000 people lost their lives in the moment of the impact and another 70.000 in the course of the following days due to their severe injuries and radiation. And an unknown amount of bodies has never been able to be identified.
