Incidental Molecular Division and Travel (Aka, that time I traveled through space) ((closed))
If Tony was asked to describe what it felt like to an arc reactor the size of a football field explode directly in his face as a result of trying to kill his former father figure and mentor, he would be unable to properly describe it. The light was so bright, he was surprised it didn't burn his eyes right out of his head. He heard Stayne scream, at least indicating that his suicidal plan worked. He also heard Pepper calling his name, but it was faint and only growing fainter, like Tony was traveling away from her somehow.
He didn't quiet know what happened next, but suddenly sounds and images and sensations all blurred together into just noise and pain. Tony vaguely wondered if he had actually killed himself in that little stunt. Just when he thought his limbs were going to be ripped off by the enormous pressure around him, it suddenly stopped and Tony was sent crashing down an oddly colored bridge like a rock being skipped across a pond. Landing on his back amidst the broken armor around him, his blurry vision picked up the shape of a person with some wickedly bright amber eyes that had to be contact lenses because they looked far too unreal not to be. His body abruptly decided it had enough of that and he blacked out. His last thought before he lost consciousness was, "What have you done now, Stark?"
