Summary of the First Day
Zombie Apocalypse: Day One
The Morning
I shot my first zombie and I found that I enjoy it. I'm not sure if this thought should disturb me or not.
Damn did I like shooting him though. He was trying to take out one of my friends, Jacob. I showed him. You don't mess with my friends.
The Afternoon
Escorted more people to class, mostly just Alec. I don't mind at all. I escorted him to Biology and then again to Math.
Actually got to relax a little bit. Not a lot of zombies just yet, but the infection is spreading. The count is up to around ten or so just on campus. But we got to hide out in the game room, play a few rounds of cards, some pokemon, even got to joke around a little.
It made us forget just how dangerous it was back there.
The Evening
Today, we lost him. We lost Alec. I tried so damn hard to keep him alive, but when it came down to it, I wasn't even there. I wasn't there when he turned. And now I know never to trust someone else with my friends' lives ever again.
I'm sorry you turned zombie Alec. I don't think I'll have the heart to shoot you.
