“i don’t think i would be dead,” he pointed out. “there are some greater forces that make it quite difficult for me to die. instead, you’d be lacking the forgiveness from an undead man, which, i hear, is quite a bit worse than lacking forgiveness from a dead man.” he paused. “of course, this is all hypothetical. i do hope you don’t actually end up slitting my throat.”
