Just wanted to show you guys...I drew something! Its not much but this was my old idea for my avatar oc here on tumblr.

I've been struggling a lot and it felt like, if I drew this and used it as an avatar, I might end up...liking it. And its usually not something I would do because of the fear that the reason why its headless, is because I've become numbed. Numb to emotions, feelings, and lastly, mentally numb where I dont care about pretty much everything.

But I'll use it, I've grown fond of it.

I’d like to introduce....Rascal(Papyrus) and Vertigo(Sans) of the SwapFell Berserk AU! SwapFell Berserk has been an idea I’ve been working on for awhile now and I’ve been removing, replacing, and adding a few things in this AU.

the lore of this AU is that with the experimentation of the 6 collected SOULS, Gaster and his team (Rascal included) was working on a project on researching about the negative traits of the SOULS and thinking of ways to separate said negative traits from the positive traits. What are the risks right? there weren’t any risks...wrong! because of the phenomenon “Opposites attracts each other” theory, it was proven that both opposite traits should never be separated in the first place because they are two sides of the same coin. Having fiddling with this, the energies from both negative and positive traits had caused an explosion and a magic wave that affected monsters after the explosion. monsters that were hit within a 20 meter radius are the ones affected more or less, those monsters that were still hit by the wave but isn't as strong if they were far away has been zero to little effects on their magic. those hit on point blank range...suffered the most.

SF Berserk Papyrus or known as Rascal was hit point blank both by the explosion and Magic Wave, completely changing his magic but weirdly enough, his teleportation magic stayed...but he couldn’t summon gaster blasters or bone attacks or make SOULS blue anymore. The accident made his soul and magic unstable to the point it affected his sanity. And because of his unstable magic, it actually builds up inside him, making him have severe and violent reactions to anything. The only way for him to calm down is to spend all that magic build up through combat, because his magic is transformed into something more of a support magic where his punches and kicks has more strength to it.

Additional Info about Rascal:

he smokes a special kind of cigar made of dried echoflower petals and golden flowers, both plants had their magical properties altered or amplified by the magic wave. it allows him to be more in control of himself as it dulls his SOUL and at the same time calm him down.

the gray-ish hue of his bones was caused by him smoking the cigars.

he’s a close range/combat fighter, he had no choice but to train under Captain Alphys so his magic can be stable enough for him to control.

the scar on the left of his skull was caused by himself, a reminder that he went berserk almost to the point of no return. 

his weapon of choice is spiked brass knuckles, a gift from the Queen. 

he is...very hot-headed and tend to become violent if provoked in the right places. But because of the cigars he smokes, he will just ignore you or give you the cold shoulder.

he doesn’t really care about himself, the only things he cares about are his friends and his brother. (andsoonyou.) 

Rascal actually takes initiative and makes his own choices without any second thoughts, the only time he’ll be bossed around is if his brother is with him. he also wears his heart on his sleeve.

SF Berserk Sans or known as Vertigo, wasn’t at point blank range when the explosion happened but he was near enough that he was strongly affected by the Magic Wave, the wave didn’t affect his sanity but it did a number on his soul and magic, also causing it to be unstable. Vertigo’s magic has always been bone attacks and gravitational magic (make SOULS blue) but because of the wave, Vertigo had thought his magic left him, but if his magic left him, he would have been dusted by now, right? simple answer, his magic changed. becoming more of an AoE(Area of Effect) type of magic, a certain radius length magic on the ground that follows him around, this magic applies pressure to one’s SOUL, but its not the kind of magic that keeps you in place, its the kind of AoE magic that slowly makes the SOUL sick and the person physically sick to the point of vomiting and blood out of eyes, nose, and ears kind of sick.

Additional Info about Vertigo:

drinks golden flower tea after the magic wave amplified the calming properties it had. this allows him to calm down after a stressful day at work.

tends to be a close range fighter because of his rapier weapon(also a gift from the Queen), but because of his AoE magic, he doesn’t need to do much close fighting with enemies.

his loud and harsh personality is just a guise, he’s actually soft spoken and has a quiet personality, he despises the fact that he has to be dominant over his older brother.

he cares a lot about everything around him, most especially about his brother, Rascal.

no one knows how and where he got the large hole on his face...

Vertigo is actually very indecisive and actually looks up to Rascal to help him on stuff that requires more than just strategies.

he tends to lash out when he’s having a hard time expressing something he couldn’t put a word on. (please be patient with this babu.)

I want to thank @skesgo and @skele-shipper for listening me ramble about this au to them and helping me point out and approve of stuff about this AU, and most especially to @queenbritkiir for helping me solidify and plan out SF Berserk Sans or Vertigo’s character <3 <3 <3 love you guys <3 <3 <3
