A3 - Event Story - First Day of Spring・Setsubun Festival (立春・節分祭) - Episode 2
Kazunari: Gonna go see! Mr. Kuraki!
Tsuzuru: I'm glad there was room in your schedule.
Kazunari: I'm totally stoked! Thanks for the invite!
Tsuzuru: If you're going to thank someone, Shifuto and Azami were the ones who made this happen.
Kazunari: Ahaha, for sure.
Kazunari: You know, I was pretty surprised when I heard about this whole connection.
Tsuzuru: Apparently Shifuto has rehearsal today, and he's really bummed about not being able to come.
Kazunari: Were you close to Mr. Kuraki back in the day, Tsuzuroon? Was he your homeroom teacher or something?
Tsuzuru: Oh, I never told you? When I was a first-year, I joined the drama club... but it was only for a trial period.
Kazunari: Say what? I had no idea!
Tsuzuru: Well, I left before I could become an actual member of the club.
Kazunari: I see, I see.
Tsuzuru: What about you? Did you know Mr. Kuraki well?
Kazunari: I never had him for homeroom or anything either, but I basically knew every teacher.
Tsuzuru: Wow. I guess that shouldn't be surprising, though, since it's you we're talking about.
---
Tsuzuru: Hello, Mr. Kuraki. It's been a while since we last saw each other.
Kazunari: Hiya, Teach!
Kuraki: Yes, time flies... I'm glad to see you both doing well.
Tsuzuru: I was amazed at how much time has passed since drama club when I heard about you and Shifuto knowing each other.
Kuraki: As for me, I had already heard through the grapevine that the two of you joined the Mankai Company.
Tsuzuru: Really?
Kuraki: I like to keep track of everything that goes on around here. After all, I am a drama club advisor.
Kuraki: Tsuzuru getting involved in theater makes sense, but I never expected to hear that Kazunari became an actor, too.
Kazunari: Ahaha, surprise!
Kuraki: Not exactly. At first, yes, I was surprised. But then I remembered how you used to have so many interests... and how you used to jump headfirst into every single one of them.
Kuraki: With that in mind, you becoming an actor isn't surprising at all.
Kazunari: Man, it's like you saw right through me!
Kuraki: Then, there was the Fleur Special Award... the two of you became such splendid young men. I couldn't ask for better students.
Tsuzuru: ... Thanks, Mr. Kuragi. But we still have a long way to go.
Kuraki: Tsuzuru, do you enjoy being in theatre?
Tsuzuru: Yes! I really do.
Kuraki: I see. I'm glad that's how you feel.
Kuraki: When you said you were leaving the drama club, I really, truly wanted to stop you.
Kuraki: But, I agree that family comes first.
Tsuzuru: Mr. Kuraki...
Kazunari: ...
Kuraki: I was worried you would never return to theatre after that. But you have, and you're having a good time, so I can rest easy.
Tsuzuru: Thank you very much for watching over me all this time.
Kazunari: Hold up, I just realized something. Isn't Futsuzumi’s Setsubun Festival coming up soon?
Kuraki: Ah, yes. But since it's just a run-of-the-mill festival and students aren't required to participate, people lost interest and enthusiasm over the years and eventually stopped coming.
Kazunari: So that's how it is now...
Tsuzuru: I mean, the festival is pretty much just throwing beans at a demon and eating ehomaki sushi.
Kazunari: Uh, that sounds amazing. Wouldn't playing that demon be bomb?
Tsuzuru: I guess the whole thing could potentially look pretty festive.
Tsuzuru: Um, Mr. Kuraki. I think I have an idea.
Kuraki: What is it?
Tsuzuru: What if the drama club helped liven things up a little at the festival? They could do a Setsubun-themed show.
Kazunari: Aw yeah Tsuzuroon, nice idea! People will totally wanna come to the festival then! Let's do it, Mr. K.!
Kuraki: That's certainly a plan to consider, but right now there's a bit of a problem with the drama club.
A3 - Event Story - First Day of Spring・Setsubun Festival (立春・節分祭) - Episode 8
Tsuzuru: ... Ngh.
Kazunari: Oh, Tsuzuroon. You awake?
Tsuzuru: Kazunari... I guess I passed out, huh.
Tsuzuru: I’m sorry for making you worried.
Kazunari: Tsuzuroon's so honest...
Tsuzuru: Why are you surprised by that? Anyway, as usual, I didn't do a good enough job taking care of myself.
Tsuzuru: I even shot you down when you asked if I was okay.
Kazunari: Don't worry about that. I mean, I should’ve tried harder to stop you once I noticed...
Kazunari: There’s something I have to say.
Tsuzuru: Huh?
Kazunari: Take better care of yourself.
Kazunari: When we were talking with Mr. Kuraki about high school, you mentioned why you didn't join the drama club.
Kazunari: I'm glad you get to have that experience and have fun now when you couldn't back then.
Kazunari: But you can’t sacrifice your well-being for that.
Tsuzuru: ...
Kazunari: To be honest, telling you what you should and shouldn't do is like the pot calling the kettle black. I mean, if I'm working on a painting or something and I get really into it, I usually end up ignoring what my body needs to stay healthy.
Kazunari: Still, remember how you asked for everyone's help with the play at that group meeting we had?
Tsuzuru: ... !
Tsuzuru: ... Yeah.
Kazunari: So let everyone help you, okay? Don't hold back, just ask.
Tsuzuru: I mean, I wasn't trying to hold back... all I've been thinking is that working on the play with everyone is a lot of fun.
Tsuzuru: Though maybe part of me still wanted to do everything by myself, and I just didn't realize that.
Kazunari: But you do now?
Tsuzuri: Yeah.
Kazunari: Welp, from now on you're gonna lean on us a lot more! It's a promise, okay?
Tsuzuru: Okay.
---
Tsuzuru: Hey everybody, I'm back.
Kuraki: Tsuzuru! Are you all right?
Ohara: How are you feeling?!
Tsuzuru: I'm fine, now. I slept for a bit, and it was pretty refreshing.
Tsuzuru: Everyone, I’m sorry for making you worry.
Juza: It’s fine as long as you’re okay.
Tasuku: Just don't overdo it.
Tsuzuru: Wait, that set piece you're fixing right now... Did I break that?
Kazunari: Yep, you definitely broke it~
Citron: It was a splendid destruction!
Tsuzuru: Uwah, I’m sorry!
Tasuku: Don't worry about it. You didn’t do that much damage. They’re just messing with you.
Juza: And we're almost done fixing it.
Azami: Oh yeah, I got in touch with the director--
Izumi: Tsuzuru?!
Tsuzuru: Director? I thought you were really busy all day and couldn’t make it...?
Izumi: My schedule's not important right now--hang on. Tsuzuru, you’re... okay?
Tsuzuri: More or less, yeah.
Izumi: Oh, thank goodness. I panicked and rushed over here when I heard you passed out.
Azami: I told you he was just asleep.
Izumi: I was still worried, so I ended up driving here anyway.
Izumi: Tsuzuru, I'm sorry I didn't notice how exhausted you were.
Tsuzuru: Don't apologize, it's not your fault!
Izumi: But I'm responsible for making sure you take care of yourself.
Izumi: For now, let's head back to the dorm so you can rest up. The car's--
Tasuku: Wait a minute. Are you driving?
Izumi: Yes? What else would I do?
Tasuku: I’ll drive. Tsuzuru might get sick again if you do.
A3 - Event Story - First Day of Spring・Setsubun Festival (立春・節分祭) - Episode 7
Kuraki: All right, that’s it for rehearsal today. Let's pick up where we left off with putting the stage scenery together.
Ohara & Ogawa: Okay!
Tsuzuru: Right, I’ll move that over.
Kazunari: Hey Tsuzuroon, is it just me or are you looking kinda wobbly today?
Tsuzuru: I’m fine.
Kazunari: But you haven’t really taken a break since writing the script... We can take care of things here today, so maybe you can go home and take a little nap?
Tsuzuru: Like I said, I’m fine.
Kazunari: Yeah, but y’know, getting rest is more--
Tsuzuru: Like I said, I’m fine. Did you not hear me the first two times?
Kazunari: ...
Kazunari: Okay. You said you’re fine, and I believe you.
Tsuzuru: (Was I too harsh just now?)
---
Ohara: Tsuzuru, I think I can manage by myself over here.
Tsuzuru: Yeah? Then I’ll work on this. The prop--
Tsuzuru: ... Ugh.
Ohara: T-Tsuzuru?!
Kazunari: What happened to Tsuzuroon?
Ohara: He stood up and then fell right over...!
Citron: Tsuzuru, are you okay?!
Tsuzuru: ...
Tsuzuru: ... *snore*...
Kazunari: Huh?
Tsuzuru: Zzz...
Tasuku: ... He’s just asleep.
Azami: Damn, made me nervous...
Juza: He really was tired.
Kazunari: Tax, can you carry Tsuzuroon?
Tasuku: Yeah, I think so.
Tasuku: Here we... go.
Kazunari: I think we should take him to the nurse’s office for now. Are you gonna be okay here if we leave?
Ogawa: Yep, no problem!
Kazunari: And can you let Mr. Kuraki know what happened?
Ogawa: Okay!
Kazunari: Azamin, can you get in touch with the director? I think Tsuzuroon’s fine since he’s passed out like this before, but just in case.
Azami: Uh, right. Got it.
Kazunari: Okay, Tax, let’s go. The nurse’s office is that way.
Azami: ... Did Kazunari seem different just now?
Juza: You think so?
Citron: There was an unusual feeling indeed!
---
Tsuzuki : ...*snore*...
Kazunari: I think that set piece got wrecked when Tsuzuroon fell...
Tasuku: I don’t think it was completely destroyed. We can probably still save it somehow. I’ll try fixing it.
Tasuku: You should stay here.
Kazunari: ...’kay.
Tasuku: But... don’t be too hard on the guy when he wakes up.
