The shelter thinks I am about 10 years old. I have been at the shelter since Jan 30, 2018 and I may be available for adoption on Feb 06, 2018 at 10:23AM. MEDICAL NOTES: 02/08/18 08:56 last two mornings there has been no waist in her litter box but she eats a whole can of cat food immediately after offering. Seems to be always hungry. ml 02/08/18 14:47 cat is BAR, still unkept fur and matted, does not like to be handled (growls and hisses), hydration ok. Abdomen painful/uncomfortable when try to palpate. No urine in box but towel is wet and smells like urine. Appears she is urinating on the towels. The ravenous eating sounds like she may be hyperthyroidism. She is an older cat and needs a CBC, Chemistry, and urinalysis to assess her health. R/O hyperthyroidism vs kidney disease vs kidney failure. This cat needs a rescue for proper medical work up.
