Marie is from France and came from a very high class, rich family. Her only sister went off to be a model in California, and her mother was always on the red carpet since she ran a famous fashion line. Her father was hardly seen since he was an in office author, however he published a successful series when Marie was a young teen.

Her hopes and dreams were far from being a model like her elder sister but not too far from her fathers career. She originally wanted to be a poet, it was her one true passion in life while others danced, sang, or played sports. Marie kept this a secret for a long time, since her family was so successful, she didn’t want to disappoint them with being something smaller.

For eight years, Marie hid her journals filled with poems under her mattress and only told her father when she had moved out at the age of 19. At the time, she was taking classes to become a counselor since she felt she couldn’t make a real career out of being a poet but she still kept those on the side. After thinking her father would be angry, or tell her she couldn’t do it, she was surprised to see him being accepting toward her. He even offered to use her poems in his current series.

She declined the offer, thinking she wasn’t good enough and kept on with her counseling education. Marie spoke all French until she decided to take on other languages such as Spanish, Italian, and English. With her high grades, famous parents, and wealth she was able to move from France onto a bigger counseling opportunity. County Line Group Home with some of the most wanted criminals, she would be given the task to help them turn their lives around.

After doubting herself for so many years, she couldn’t bring herself not to doubt this assignment. However, her family thinks she can do it, surely.

Brock had been the most responsible of the 4 siblings he had. He was the second youngest, and one of the three males in the family. His mother was a high school drop out trying to get into college and his father was a workaholic in the military.

Brock was supposed to be just like his father, as was his older brother, however Brock saw other doors and he wanted to open them all. At first, the young man wanted to be a math teacher since he had always been incredibly educated and found a passion in mathematics. What changed was that when his best friend came to him feeling suicidal, he was able to comfort them and talk them out of committing. He stayed with them the whole night and made sure they were okay.

In that moment, Brock knew what he would do. He wanted to help people, talk to them, and become close with them. His dreams of becoming a therapist were born and he even spoke to his siblings about it since they were closer to him than their parents.

Brock graduated high school and began taking courses in a University near County Line Jail. He only began working at County Line Group Home when his professor assigned them jobs for experience as one of their major projects. If he failed here, he could fail his course and so Brock needs to follow the guidelines and commit to being a counselor here. He mustn’t have any romantic or sexual relations with a criminal, nor is he allowed to discriminate against or judge the ways of the other counselors. This is going to be a difficult task for the young man.

Alexander, or Alex, was the type of kid to push the chairs back on two legs in class, and draw on other peoples binders. He was a sassy, outgoing individual with a talent for calming people down. The small boy never had to try for anything so long as he could keep those around him from going insane.

When Alex hit his teenage years, his behavior only worsened. He wouldn’t care about what he was told to do, nor would he listen to anyone but himself. He began smoking and doing drugs, spending all of the money he made as a waiter on these things. Everyone who knew him either pushed him away or was pushed away by him, even his single mother, Angelica.

Some would say that Alexander is one of those typical “bad boys with a heart deep down,” but he truly is not. Alex was put into therapy before he turned 16 and told that if he didn’t cooperate, he would be sent to juvie for all of the crimes he had committed regarding drug abuse. At this point, he had no choice but to listen to a voice that was not his own.

Alex spoke to his therapist about his inner feelings, or rather, lack of. Slowly, over the next 5 years, Alex almost became the person he was as a small child. Cocky, outgoing, smart, and still has the talent to calm his peers down.

This is why Alexander decided to become a counselor for criminals. He knows what it’s like to feel nothing and he knows what it’s like to stop caring. He now works at County Line Group Home to mentor those who are just like the old him.

Michael grew up to be a successful man but if you took a look at his past, you’d know that he isn’t what he seems to be. As a teen, he inhabited rather nasty thoughts and actions. There’s a lot of blood on the hands of his own, blood that he only shed for money.

Michael is a twenty-seven year old murderer, though he acts as a counselor at County Line Group Home. He gives very good advice, tips, and favors criminals just like him, however, everything has a price. These are the reasons why Michael was put into foster care at the age of fourteen. His family wanted nothing to do with a sociopath, though they were the only ones who knew his dark secrets. 

He was able to keep these secrets hidden by taking a police training course after high school and learning how to cover tracks easily. He also became very popular among the stations he worked at and usually pinned the guilt onto someone else if another was to suspect his crimes.

Michael now takes residence in County Line, wanting to take the organization down one criminal at a time. The price for doing so is very, very high.
