There have been multiple occasions in the past year when protesters have filled the Ann Arbor council chambers, angrily lashing out at the City Council and disrupting meetings, in some cases requiring police to intervene. Last summer, a large crowd of anti-Israel protesters was escorted out of city hall by police after loudly demonstrating during a council meeting. A similar situation played out more recently when a group of protesters decrying the police shooting of 40-year-old Aura Rosser shut down a council meeting. READ MORE ...

JOIN US TUESDAY, JANUARY 27th, Ann Arbor, MI We are still waiting to have our big march once Prosecutor Mackie releases the details of the investigation into Aura Rosser's death. However, some members of our action group will be at the Court bldg tomorrow, protesting and letting Mackie know that we haven't forgotten about her death. Please come if you can! Court bldg. corner of Main and Huron, downtown. 4pm 'til at least 5pm. Let county prosecutor Mackie know we are waiting and watching. A variety of signs will be available or bring your own!
