so for tears to so quickly collect in the corner of her eyes, soon after rolling down her humanoid visage, is almost completely unheard of.

she doesn't quite understand why two deceptively-simple words so swiftly reduce her to a teary, sniffling mess -- but that’s fine. she doesn’t have to understand it, just as she knows she doesn’t have to verbalize her thoughts.

the love that she can feel from her daughter is more than enough to tell her that it’s okay, because the woman before her understands without a word.
