Paws pounded down on the concrete. White fur flashed in the darkness.
She had to get away. She had to get away now.
“Ma, me and Miyu are going out to the store, okay?” A pair of dark blue eyes looked up to a cat. “Be safe, sweetheart.” “I will, bye!” The owner of the voice shut the door and padded down the porch steps.
“Miyu! Wait up!” she whined. The white she-cat was a lively one, full of emotion and ready to beat up anyone who teased her sister. Her name was a simple one, Yuriko. And she liked it.
A lot.
Very much.
Yuriko caught up to Miyu, who was her sister. She had green eyes and was full of brown fur.
After a few minutes they arrived at their destination. They exchanged words and then split apart.
Yuriko looked around. Several bright colors caught her eyes. She walked with a small bounce to her step. The she-cat smiled, looking around.
She bumped into black fur. “Oh, sorr-” she began, but abruptly stopped. Her heart skipped a beat. In front of her, looking down, was Kaoru. The only boy she had a crush on, and she had already embarrassed herself several times.
“Kaoru..?”
A Few Years Later
A white furry cat flipped through files with a paw. How old was she now?Seventeen, perhaps? It didn’t really matter.
“What are you looking at?” A pair of eyes watched the albino.
