With the new year here, this marks about two and a half years that I've been following you and I just wanted to let you know that you have had such an impact on me. I go to your page for comfort and to know that I'm not alone even when my mind is in a bit of a dark place. I absolutely love your art and you inspired me to create my own. I have honestly had a big parasocial crush on you?? Super weird, I know, I'm mentally ill. But I mostly just wanted to say that I really hope that 2023 treats you well.

Ahh thank you so much for your kind words. I'm a bit lost for words to be honest lmao, but I'm glad you can find comfort in my blog/content! Making art is a refreshing process; violent/gore themes can be tricky to share, so yeah…happy to know other people find some solace in it as well.

I’m just, Really Frustrated at tumblr right now. Like, I was frustrated yesterday when this first happened and I thought maybe I should just give myself some time to calm down. And I did. Then I came back, and now it’s WORSE.

what happened? Well tumblr has this thing called endless scrolling, which I’m sure everyone reading this is aware of. You just scroll and scroll for miles.

I don’t like it.

Which, y’know, usually isn’t a problem cause there’s a thing in settings where you can turn it off and have tumblr come at you twenty post per page.

At least it did have a thing where you can turn it off.

I come on here, wanting to relax after a 9-5 at work, and the endless scrolling is on. Huh, that’s weird, thought I turned that off. I refresh the page. Still on. Hmm, well let’s poke through my account and the settings. Maybe tumblr is doing a Weird Thing again. Oh, oh no, I can’t find where to turn it off.

So I head to google! Google says to go to dashboard settings and you can turn it off there! Even provides a picture!

Neat! Let’s head there and-

Freaking- they took away the off button! I need that! Endless scrolling makes using this site so unnecessarily frustrating for me! Whenever I reblog something, it takes me right back to the top and I have to scroll for who knows how long to get back to where I was. It’s also just mean to my iPad/laptop to keep scrolling. It gets laggy, it takes longer for things to load, my device becomes a personal heater in my already warm room.

And as if that wasn’t enough! Frequently, after scrolling miles to get to where I was before I reblogged something, I’ll settle back to enjoying semi mindless scrolling and be in the middle of reading something, and tumblr will say “Hey, you know what haven’t seen recently? The top off your dashboard.” And then I am forcibly yanked from whatever content I was invested in as the page reloads and leaves me dazed, confused, panting for breath back to where I started with a long scroll ahead if I ever want to finish what I had started.
