let's say you've got a task - for example, you gotta take out the trash or something

before you even start that task, someone comes and asks you to do another task when you're done - for example, they ask you to wash the dishes

you quickly agree on it and stuff so you can go back and do the first one because that's your "main task" and like-

your brain is so focused on completing it (even if it's something that doesn't take long to finish), and you completely forget about the second task??

#idk if it makes sense #but it happens to me a lot #whenever this happens my mother says i am making excuses #but i genuinely forget-#aaaahhh-
