edmund was a red flag because of his relationship with mc's mom, more than anything. he was relatively fine otherwise. i only brought him up because him and goscelin both have connections to their respective mc's mothers

I liked Lothar's particular brand of trash where he was obsessed with her being pure and perfect and his, even to the point of magicking her to stay under his thumb, and was also a manwhore (but tragically), but also would kill for her and worship her as the same act.
