“He Has Changed My Thought Process”- Says Karthik Aaryan About His Movie Aaj Kal Director Imtiaz Ali

Right now, Karthik Aaryan is busy with his new movie Pati Patni Aur Woh with Bhumi Pednekar and Ananya Panday. Finishing first schedule in Punjab of Dostana 2 with Janhvi Kapoor and Lakshya, Karthik Aaryan has joined others for the movie promotions. Few more movies are in the hand of Karthik at the moment. Next, he is expected to be seen in Imtiaz Ali’s Aaj Kal with Sara Ali Khan and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 by Anees Bazmee with Kiara Advani. Shooting of Imitiaz Ali’s Aaj Kal is completed by Karthik in mid 2019.

During an interview, Karthik has talked about his experience of working with Imtiaz Ali. On the occasion, he has said “I am excited about Imtiaz Ali’s next because I’m in love with Imtiaz sir. He has changed my thought process a lot. I think I’m a changed man now. There has been a huge change in me since I’ve shot for his film.”

Later on, Karthik has added “Both, my acting process and personal mindset have changed after working with him. I’ve been a fan of his since the beginning, I couldn’t believe I was doing his film.”

During the shooting of last scene for the movie with Imtiaz Ali, Karthik has become very emotional. In fact, he has cried while hugging the director as well. He has said “I cried while shooting the last scene with him. That last sequence is extremely emotional. I was really emotional at that time because that journey has been amazing. I’m really looking forward to the film.” Release of the movie is expected in February, 2020.
