More (Badly written) Vincenzo headcanons
I'm still in denial that the show has ended. :/ But hey, more 5 + 1 (+1) headcanons/vignettes in Pagliuzza that won't leave my head! These particular ones take place after the drama.
Song of the day: "Adrenaline (Italian Ver.)" by Aalia
1. During their time together, Vincenzo learns that Cha Young knows how to play the piano. She brushes it off, saying that it was one of her father's stubborn notions that every girl should do, but something wistful in her smile gives it away.
The next time she visits, she's delighted to see the white grand piano that stands pristine in the sunlight.
2. Whenever she's in Pagliuzza, Cha Young will always commandeer one of Vincenzo's shirts to sleep and lounge around in. He stops protesting after the first few times, mostly because while it's futile to argue with her, he quite enjoys seeing her in something that's his.
(He always wears the shirt after she leaves, to keep her scent with him a little longer.)
3. Vincenzo's barely noticed it when they were back in Korea, but it doesn't really hit him until a week into her stay on Pagliuzza that Cha Young isn't really a morning person. She'll hit the snooze alarm multiple times, each time a little harder than the previous, and promptly burrows more deeply into the covers.
(The only thing that will draw her away from the bed is coffee.)
4. There's only one room that the staff is largely forbidden to touch--the empty room next to the boss'. Whispers amongst the staff reveal that during the very rare times they do get to go in and clean, it is always for a single lady who brings and takes away the boss' smile.
5. It's not often, but sometimes, packages mysteriously show up on Cha Young's doorstep--one time a silk scarf, another time a beautiful jewelry set. The packages never have a return address, as if delivered by hand, but all contain a single note inside in the same loopy handwriting: To my sweetie.

"When you're done, immediately leave without contacting me. "Do you understand?" As Vincenzo nods and reaches out to stroke her hair, he thinks that for tonight, he can be a little selfish. It'll be some time before daylight. Just for tonight.

In the time that he's known Mr. Cassano, Young Un has seen many facades to the notorious consigliere--courteous, efficient, focused, contemplative, and even cruel. But as they drive away towards the airport, he sees a wholly new expression on Mr. Cassano's face: heartbreak.
