More superhero shenanigans with Cole and Aaliyah, featuring supporting ocs! Vitamin is a hero that eventually teams up with the duo, while round (glasses) and Angle (Glasses) are government agents that check in on Aaliyah and Cole in order to help the duo gain and maintain their hero status.

The idea for the standards of this hero world is that a lot of the action hero stuff is a secondary aspect, with more slice of life or treading through heroic bureaucracy and aftermath of confrontations being at the forefront. Basically- heroes need capital to function and they have to gamble with slow turning government funding, sponsorships from rich and morally gray characters, or somehow making their own money with a secondary job, inheritance, etc. And one of the most fun aspects i like to imagine is heroes having to attending charity balls or somewhat hedonistic sponsorship parties so they can uphold community status. I think the main reason why i like it is because i get to dress my ocs up LOL.

Might break this group of art up to further extrapolate, but i like putting everything together, it reminds me that i’m drawing a lot for this au LOL

Aaliyah and Cole aka Diamond Girl and Prime- an unlikely superhero duo! Aaliyah was the driving force behind the partnership, convincing an intergalactic mercenary to spend his time doing mostly underpaid hero work is no easy feat but if anyone could do it, it’d be her. In this au, heroes are a career path but it’s pretty dorky

Short Power Blurb

Aaliyah (Diamond Girl): Earned Invincibility, energy absorbtion/ reflection

Essentially the harder she gets hit, the even harder she can hit back. This coupled with the fact that she can absorb and reflect copious amounts of energy thrown at her in the form of blasts makes her really tanky.

Cole (Prime): Telekinesis, Gravity Shifting

Cole can manipulate the gravity field of most forms of matter- the telekinesis is a part of that. He can make things as heavy or as light as he’d like without having to touch it directly- as long as it’s within his line of sight. He tends to use it on himself the most, which is how he flies. There’s also a secret third thing that has to do with what’s under his goggles 👁

Definitely expect more from this concept!
