Does anyone have the epub/pdf of an azulaang fic called Secrets Only the Wind Keeps by DreamingInFire on AO3.
This is the synopsis:
When Korra can't get the hang of airbending, Tenzin fears the worst. If she doesn't master airbending it could spell disaster for the next reincarnation of the Avatar Cycle.
Every time someone mentions Aangzula I just imagine Aang like this:
It’s not my cup of tea but this dynamic would be very entertaining. I see why people ship it.
this is gonna sound like a stretch but do you happen to know where i find the fanart where (if my memory isn't botched):
aang and azula are on a sofa, getting high together. azula is lying on the right-hand side, aang is reclining to the left. he's looking at azula. he has a finger gun pointing upwards, with a small flame. azula looks back at him, a long smoking pipe in her hand. the sofa is full of red cushions and the whole scene overlooks a sunrise/set.
i believe it was based off a vintage painting depicting much of the same.
i know this sounds very random but i've suddenly remembered it. i tried looking for it in my archive so far i haven't (i had an infernal no-tagging phase). atp i don't even know i had reblogged it. or if it even exists.
I believe it was @katydoodles who made that fan art, and it was referencing a painting by Jack Vettriano called After Midnight. You should find it on her homepage. Try searching for her Azulaang fan art posts. They'll be tagged Azulaang and digital art. Hope this helps.
Aang: Admit it, Zules. Saving countless lives is better than colonizing cities any night.
Azula: Maybe... but I'm tired of all of this fighting. Let's go find a secret little corner and get out of these sweaty battle outfits.
Aang: The world is about to end, Azula! This really isn't the time for that!
Azula: If the world really is about to end, then, personally, I can't think of a better time.
Azulang - Chakra facilities
Azula: Hey, hippie.
Aang: Yes, Zules?
Azula: I've been thinking.
Aang: To be fair, when are you not thinking?
Azula: Hmph. Anyway, since we've both learned how to permanently open our chakras. I've been wondering if every prison inmate and mental hospital patient should be given the same treatment.
Aang: What do you suggest?
Azula: I say we speak to all the governments and persuade them into creating facilities or certain areas where every prison inmate and those with mental disorders are required to go in order to regularly open all chakras and make sure they stay open.
Aang: That's brilliant.
Azula: Well, you've inspired me. As the avatar, you should have plenty of say in this.
Aang: I'll see to it that you get credit.

watch me follow you into ruin by [firenaition] oneshot
“What if we never leave? You know, spend the rest of our lives here.” Azula jokes weakly, rolling out a small mat beside the dying fire. Aang looks up with a hopeless smile that threatens to devastate her. “That, I wouldn’t mind.”
it's in her kiss, black as sea by [LittleQueenTrashMouth] oneshot, aged-up characters
He wondered if she had transferred something to him when she had shot him with lightning. Something to explain why she filled his every waking thought, making him ache in her absence. He wondered if, after he had died, he had come back wrong.
I hate that you know me so well by [LittleQueenTrashMouth] au: modern settings, nerd azula, popular kid aang
At the beginning of her second year, a boy sat down across from her in one of the campus cafes. Azula had been eating alone, like she always did, and crossly looked up from her book to tell him to buzz off. He spoke first. “Hey, I think you’re in my organic chemistry class. I’m Aang.” *** Azula is struggling to make friends in college, when another pre-med student takes matters into his own hands.

Azulaang Week 2 - Forgiveness
@azulaangweek
Aang: Next is the water chakra. This chakra deals with pleasure and is blocked by guilt. Now, look at all the guilt that burdens you. What do you blame yourself for?
Azula inhales and exhales and was focusing again. She has visions of her friends leaving her and her first hallucination in front of a mirror.
Mai: (I love Zuko more than I fear you.)
Jin: (Get away from us you freak!)
Male earth citizen: (I don’t know what your problem is but stay away!)
Azula: (My own mother, though I was a monster)
Back to reality.
Azula: She was right.
Aang: Accept the reality that these things happened...
Azula: How!? I visit the Earth Kingdom, and they all come at me with such contempt, but their people killed my cousin, how am I in the wrong!? I...I once lost control...I hurt someone accidentally, and not only did they fear me...there was...(voice breaking, eyes tearing up) actual hate...
Aang: Azula...
Azula: I was told to feel proud that they fear me because fear would lead to respect, but what they gave me was the opposite of respect, and an opposite and painful feeling was plaguing me constantly. It was worse than when Mai and Ty Lee left me. How can you feel anything other than hatred and disgust, like the others, including my own brother? How is a monster like me supposed to forgive herself? Tell me!
Aang: The same way I had to accept I once burned Katara when I first tried firebending recklessly. The way I once hid the location of Sokka and Katara’s father from them out of fear. The way I killed lots of people while losing control over the avatar state.
Azula was surprised to hear this. Silence came over them.
Azula: How am I supposed to do this? How am I supposed to open this chakra?
Aang: All I can say is, if you want to be a positive influence on the world, you need to forgive yourself. Use the chakra to destroy your guilt.
Azula took a deep breath, she brushed past the guilty images and found the water chakra, the visions vanished. The chakra has opened.
Azula: Wow. That is much better.
Aang: Great, we’re making progress!
