I am happy to report that I have finally dealt with the “worse than death” situation. The sixth bucket really cured me.
So, back to the truly important business: Getting a cat!

D: goodness those poor butterflies. Oh well, I assume it looks good. I admit, thats pretty hard core and im attracted to that level of metal you just displayed. Um, thats a tern of phrase by the way, metal. Umm it… Im not sure how to explain it. Haha.
Don’t worry, they died for the good cause of making me happy.
Ok, ok, yes, that was a tasteless joke. Forgive me. If it eases your mind, they were already dead. I like to surround myself with butterflies but an insect’s life is still short in the end, even if they’re magical. They all passed away naturally from old age. I like to preserve their bodies and wings. When handled correctly their beauty is endless even in death.
I don’t quite see where I displayed metal though...? I displayed butterflies. Those are not made out of metal. Or are they in your world? (The chemistry of your living organisms intrigues but also scares me a little.)
Oh I see. Well maybe when you get out of the mirror you will get less well *sends virtual poke to poke your belly* 👉
>:3 haha, take that!
Ex-Excuse me?
Maybe when I get out of the mirror I’m gonna make myself a nice new fox fur coat.
Sure. I can link you to my Deviantart page but here are two im quite fond of. The first one is a picture done based on a story of if you and I met and I was in full fox form and you see- sometimes foxes can be a pest. The story didn’t end well- you chased me, caught me and gave me a bath! XP
*He looks at the picture in shock.*
No offense, Feral, but I’m never gonna let you into my home. Academia doesn’t pay enough for me to be able to replace my furniture every two weeks.

Get ready big boy, cuz ive got a lot of pets. Ready?
Okay so 7 dogs, one inside cat, a bunch of stray cats outside, a leopard gecko and a ball python.
I had baby chickens briefly a while back and almost got a goat- OH and i have a small mealworm farm too. You see, i just can’t stop rescuing animals from the cruelty of the humans.
Why do I feel the strangest about the mealworms out of all the animals you just mentioned...
Why do you need a mealworm farm?
Do you use them for communication? I always found the sound quality of mealworms to be rather sub-par which is why I eventually settled for caterpillars. They have a bit of a temperament but they fulfill their function wonderfully.
They were treated badly, like myself, so i just want to help. But now ive got a zoo! XD they are great companions! Much better than mean humans- though ive found a few humans I can tolerate, which is nice.
How did you meet those tolerable humans? I’m intrigued because I wonder how humans that don’t know anything about magical beings’ existence react to you in the first place and then gain your trust.
Wow, a few cups? Not just one big one? Heh.
I used to drink straight out of the tea pot in my darker moments but my caterpillar shamed me for it. It said it was below an archmage to act like this.
Yeah I suppose that description does just sound like humans with pointy ears- your ears are lovely btw! I’d love to touch them *grabby hands* but alas, even if you weren’t behind this computer screen you’d still be too tall x3 Im 5 feet tall so I think the top of my head barely reaches your shoulder, you giant. XD
Wow, you’re so short I could put my tea cup on your head and use you as a mobile coffee tea table.
To be honest elves don’t like it when people who they don’t have a strong trustful and tender connection with touch their ears. Some even take great offense if people not qualifying as such companions touch them. The latter doesn’t need to be a lover. It can be close friends or family too. We are kind of peculiar about our ears. Proud but also rather private about them. I’m generally not offended because when I lived amongst humans some of them couldn’t confine their curiosity to just their eyes (especially children) so I got used to it but I’m not always excited about it either. Our ears are really sensitive to touch and some people would outright pull on them. *He shudders remembering the painful sensation.*
Nope! No touchy the elf-y!
Well you and dragons both have only four fingers, horns, magic… But we will find out in the future, wont we. Hopefully!
Please don’t remind me...I’m pretty sure...those are all just big coincidences...*He rubs his temples in annoyance, being fully aware that he has read compelling evidence in his books that they might not be coincidences.* Gosh darn, being alive gives me a headache sometimes.

I don’t think I’ve ever seen anything like this in Xadia. I guess I need to invent it first... or I could just pin some dead butterflies on my laptop. I have a lot of them lying around here. What? How is that weird? What do you mean?
Yeah and they even forgot my cheek diamonds and my freckles. How could they miss those?... *He eyes the fanart.*
You can’t show me those and not expect me to be at least a little bit judgemental. *He chuckles cordially.*
(Your drawing is really nice but you’ve been way too generous with the abs, haha. Sadly reading books doesn’t have such great effects.)

I am very sorry to hear that you have to live in secrecy like that. Going into hiding to avoid being persecuted...How ironic that similar things have happened in Xadia but it was humans who were at the receiving end of this treatment.
Just proves me and my ambitions right though. If everyone is equally stupid we might as well live together. (Wait, no, that doesn’t sound right. Sorry, it’s been an exhausting day and I need my leaf flavoured water to think straight.)
What do you mean? Why are you surprised that we have horns? That’s how elves look...
Hello! It's Aaravos, right? I'm Morra! From what I understood from your blog is that you are having some difficulties in managing your computer, huh? Maybe I could help you out? :3
*Aaravos sees a little number in the corner of his magic window, right above the envelop. Does that mean the magic window has give him mail? What could it want from him? Carefully and in disbelief he taps the envelop and all of a sudden there is word from a human. His heart stops for a second. He just stares at the lines in front of him. Did…did a human really just reach out to him? His thoughts start to race. Is this real? Has he lost his mind? Is it possible that after all these centuries he will interact with a living soul again? What should he say? Can he trust this person? But what does he have to lose? Maybe this is his chance to finally receive an answer to this mind-boggling mystery.
The message sounds kind, so…
Aaravos starts to press the little letter buttons to write a reply. He prays to the stars that he can retain his grace as on the inside his feelings are tumultuous.*
Hello Morra. What a nice name! How kind of you to speak to me. I am overjoyed to receive this message!
I am having difficulties managing my…computer? Is this what you call this magic window? Yes, I am incredibly confused… What even is this thing? And what is this place? Oh, and would you mind informing me what year we have?
*He pauses for a second, then he realises something and he turns pale.*
How- how do you know my name?
You told us your name? I’m Anon #1 by the way, pleased to meet you!
I-I did?! Really? I..I don’t remember.
*He starts to get inquiet. How careless of him. Did he let his name slip into this unknown place that might house foes and hostilities? This isn’t like him at all. This magic box, he thinks, is really starting to mess with him
And the message puzzles him, too.*
Anon? What…is an anon? Anon #1, that sounds like an important denomination. Are you the first, the most important and most powerful of those “anons”? Are you the gods of this realm perhaps?
You have no idea who I am, right?...
Oh, be quiet, human!
*The diamonds on his face start to glow brightly as he types with angry embarrassment.*
Somehow this internet computer tampers with my magic vision. You win, I don’t know who you are. Be proud, you won against a startouch elf. Now would you please go your merry way?
*He pouts. For a second all grace has left him.*I don’t like this… Why is this so stressful?
