Growing up this was probably my favorite movie, Robin Williams was so diverse with so many great characters! When I recently saw this came on Netflix, I was instantly thrown back to my childhood and wanted to draw some of the characters from Hook!

Aaron and Raph were the easiest to create; the network generated perfect likenesses for them almost right away. The others all took some degree of trial and error, especially Felix, Ricky and Lamina. Felix in particular has so much going on for him that I had to be very minucious in getting his portrait to look right; the glasses and hair were super tricky to capture. I had to cross-breed the initial generated portrait of Gabe with Raph’s to get the definitive one because I really wanted their family resemblance to be clear.
I’m pretty satisfied with these, even if there are a few details I couldn’t include mostly because of the network being weird (I couldn’t figure out how to get Ola’s hair tied into her signature ponytail so I left it down and everytime I tried to give Victoria wavier hair it ended up mucking up her face). I’m not gonna lie, I’m kind of amused at how Sadie turned out looking like Brittany Snow with rounder features. And Ricky kinda looks like Brennan Mejia!
I guess this is the best I have for Halloween this year... I mean, this has been finished for a while now, but I thought it would be fitting to upload it now.
