Artist Statement 2

For our project, The Loop, I stuck with my original inspiration and former GIF project to create an anime themed collection. I chose my current favorite, Attack on Titan, as the basis for this project. Anime is such a dynamic medium that I believed would translate well to a GIF format. A reoccurring theme in this show is transformation be it from human to titan, friend to enemy, or freedom to imprisonment. I hope to showcase this in my short 10 piece collection.
