It's... just a normal calendar, really. Your birthday is circled in bright green marker, and the only other significant dates marked on the calendar are the arrival of your SBURB disc, and the start of the school year.

Not that your SBURB disc has actually come yet (even though it was supposed to), and you aren't very excited for school.

>Nick: Check mail for disc.

What? No, your mom's downstairs. You can't do that. Even if you're anticipating this game greatly, you aren't going to go downstairs while your mom is... 'working'. Last time you did that, you ended up losing your backpack for a week before your mom found it under the stairs.

>Nick: Examine hair.

Ah yes, your pride and joy. Nobody else has hair quite as cool as yours. You aren't sure what else there is to examine, though. It's there, and it's great, but it isn't doing anything right now.

>Nick: Examine painting.

What, this one? This is of your mom's "special friends" Mr Hat. He's a puppet. He's a little scary, actually. You still don't know how she gets him to talk without moving her own mouth. Your mother actually paid you to paint this for her birthday, but then let you keep it afterwards. You turn it away from your bed at night, but nonetheless, you're pretty proud of it.

>Nick: Capatchalogue paintbrush.

You do this. It's capatchalogued. You aren't sure what the point of this was.

Oh. Yours is pretty stupid, actually. Your best friend got it for you, for your birthday. It's called the TRICK LOCK Modus. Every time to capatchalogue something, it sets a lock, and you need to figure out the combination. Thinking back on it, you probably shouldn't have capatchalogued that paintbrush. You're never getting it back, now.

Sleeping in is Temporary Fun

Kanaya hadn't planned on staying up all night, but her two assigned essays had chosen for her. She hadn't planned on staying up two hours after completing said essays either, but once she started on a new sewing project, she found it hard to stop. Needless to say, the morning was going to be harder than usual. Her alarm went off at 6:00 am, as usual, but after getting only 3 hours of sleep, getting up didnt seem like the most important thing. Kanaya quickly fell back asleep, but almost immediately, there was a knock at her door. "Mm.. what is it.." she mumbled. "Get up, Kanaya! You missed 1st period!" The person at her door responded. Kanaya almost screamed when she saw the time. How could she have slept till 10:30??
