Summary: Rose and Tentoo are settled into their lives in Pete’s World, years after the Doctor left them behind they now run Torchwood Three in Cardiff, monitoring the rift and all it’s activity. But when people start turning up with their DNA erased leaving only an empty shell in it’s place, they know they have bigger problems than rift junk. Struggling for solutions the reawakening of the breach should bring more problems but when something falls through they realise they may finally get some answers.

So AAV, huh? Instead of being weird and ominous ab his story I'll put it here:)! I wanted to intertwine his origins as closely to his source as possible while fitting them to the setting of night city. I ended up making hima. Failed bodyguard android developed for hanako to replace oda and eventuallt any and all human guards. He ends up failed due to developing emotions - hanako herself insists on keeping hin alive and letting him 'live'. For this he resents her deeply but cannot rid himself of his attachment. He tries his best to just survive and find a new purpose in life, doing merc work here and there, no matter how honorless it is to him. He rents an apartment in Japantown!

“To our graves,” Tal hissed. “Watery graves deep beneath the—what is that?—water! Our bodies are going to be partying with the whales down there, Devan. They’ll probably kill you last. No worries. I’ll just be down there with the sharks. I’ll save you some kelp and clams to snack on.”

Hit the beach….

GULF OF THAILAND (February 27, 2020) -- United States Marines embarked aboard United States Navy amphibious transport dock ship USS Green Bay (LPD 20) storm shoreward in Assault Amphibious Vehicles (AAVs) during a training exercise with the Royal Thai military.

Assault Amphibious Vehicles (AAVs) can carry up to 21 Marines ashore, plus a crew of 3.

One can’t help but notice how similar an amphibious assault looked 75 years earlier during the final amphibious assault landing of World War II in 1945 on Okinawa. Different generation of landing craft....but similar look.
