I came up with this design myself! This was such a fun cosplay. The best part was how many people recognized our group and how excited they would get! <3 ✨don’t remove caption✨

The year is 2013. The place, the Anime Boston main events hall.

The AMV contest is drawing to a close. You've cheered, you've laughed, you've cried (that freaking Wolf Children video, okay?), you've laughed again. For the last two hours you've been watching the best of the best, the fan-crafted medleys and parodies you waited in line for two hours before that to see.

You glance down at your ballot sheet. Only a single comedy video remains. The black screen in front of you declares it to be "Call me MayBuu", and you feel a sense of dread as the first lines of violin plucking float from the speakers - what parody horror awaits you? Are you really going to have to sit through three and a half minutes of Dragon Ball Z ironically set to Carly Rae Jepsen's obnoxiously perky pop hit, which you may or may not be incapable of hearing any longer without singing "I threw a kid in the well" under your breath instead?

But no

The truth is something much different, much bolder.

The truth is two minutes and seventeen seconds no one in this room will ever be able to forget...

no matter how hard they try.

Just finished editing the last of my actual camera photos from Anime Boston! I took these before and after the con for a few of my friends. (I know it was over a month ago... I'm the laziest man on Earth)
