Powerful blood and force with a bit of primal magic. restrictions. Due to the use of blood magic for most of her life she cannot heal her own scars only close the lighter ones. If she’s bleeding from a very deep scar and cannot find a way to close it she might pass out from blood loss.

interesting question! 

it depends! 

if he can’t handle the onslaught of memories (after all, skyhold is where the last weeks of the rebellion took place, and the fade reflects the reality of wherever the dreamer is) he’ll be wandering around at three am like the good old scarf grandpa he is.

but if he’s lonely or sad and feels like he can handle it, he’ll seek refuge in the memories he can scrape off from the walls. so he might be sleeping, yes. however, he tends to be alert given the fact the inquisitor may need him at any given moment.

azazel: talk about a time when you were falsely blamed for something

“When I was a child I used to steal grapes.” a small mischievous smile formed on her lips as she chuckled “A lot of grapes.” enough to make her mother scream all the way home, slapping her hands and asking Elgar’nan what she had done to get a child such as her “But always from the baskets still in the fields or from the plants themselves. Never from the temples.” it was a obvious and simple lesson that she had learnt fast.

“One day one of the boys accused me of stealing the grapes from one of the offering plates.” known trouble maker, someone that showed constant defiance to the priests. Could there be an easier target? “Of course I didn’t, I was a child, small and skinny, but not stupid.” the priestess rolled her eyes as she twirled the wine in the glass. Everyone knew that stealing from Elgar’nan’s priests was a quick way to have some fiery marks upon your skin. Then, her skin was beautiful and full like the sun over golden sand, some scars were already taking root on her hands, but no one knew yet “The priests gave a hard time to my parents and I beat the living regret out of the…” her teeth gritted for a few seconds before taking the glass to her lips. Deep breath “Let’s just say I wasn’t accused of anything else from then on.”

11. How much faith do they have in their justice system? Are they idealistic about it? [Edward]

He starts off with a lot of idealistic faith that the Templars are a pure and just cause. That goes downhill pretty quickly, but in general - yes, he has faith in the Thedas justice system as a whole. Like with Cora, that faith gets pretty well gutted with what happens with Ariadne (though perhaps his less so than that of the two women).

10. Do they take pride in their work or is it just a routine? [Cora]

Cora definitely takes pride in what she does, even if it’s just a routine. Some parts of the routine - like putting her hair up in a bun or putting on robes - aren’t particularly pride-worthy, but the way she interacts with her mages, the plans she has for the system, she takes pride in all of that even if it’s daily work.

15. If made to choose between their family’s desires and their own, which would they choose? [Cora]

Her own. Cora’s so far removed from her family at this point in her life, that “my family’s desires” to her have about as much weight as “the desires of some people I vaguely know.” If their desires conflicted with hers or were otherwise mutually-exclusive, she would definitely choose her own without even a second thought to it. The only thing that might make her think twice about it is if there was the possibility that her family could be physically hurt or injured by the situation.

When his contact sent word, he made sure that no other patients would remain at his clinic upon her arrival. He was a questionable sight on his own, the appearance of a Tal-Vashoth would make people talk, attract attention to his person. It was the last thing he wanted.

And so, he waited, until his friend pulled the curtain, followed by a very tall woman, even taller than he expected. He nodded and his friend walked out of the tent.
