Next in my list of favorite youtube channels! Number 9!
The Proper People
This channel is right up my fucking alley. Two friends exploring abandoned places and making little documentaries about where they visit.
I love exploration in any media. Most of my favorites will have some aspect of exploration. So of course a channel all about exploring long forgotten places and seeing what remains would be on this list.
There's tons of channels about exploring abandoned places, but many of them are just not that great. I don't vibe with them and honestly it's because the bar has been set so high with this channel.
I also have an interest in filmmaking and the production values of their videos just make me happy. They clearly care to make a solid, well produced video about wherever they're at. It was because of them I even checked out Sony cameras and bought a Sony camera. I appreciate that they have a nice complete list of all the gear they use on their website.
They have intros giving a summary of the building and what led to its downfall. They get excited over architecture or old equipment, lights, ect. There's clearly a passion here beyond the thrill of creeping onto property they're not supposed to be. No other channel that explores abandoned places compares, but there's a lot I haven't checked out still.
If you have a interest in abandoned places then you honestly already about this channel. If you somehow haven't though then enjoy!

This was taken in an abandoned hospital in Maryland. I can’t remember the name… but I think it’s long since been burnt down/torn down/destroyed.
You really do forget shit when you get older.
