Mida: Is that why Station Security ordered a station wide evacuation today? Because of the station shutdown?

Steven: Yes, I'm afraid so.

Mida: What will happen to you Steven? You have kept me in service since my construction. They can't shut humans down.

Mida: I do not like the idea of a different station having a different station AI then me. I don't think I like this Haney.

Steven: Wow, I knew you were an intelligent AI system but I never would have thought you'd develop jealousy of all emotions.

Mida: My model is capable of developing emotions so as to better relate to station staff and citizens.

Steven: I know full well what your model is capable of, Mida.

Mida: I question that sometimes.

Steven: Now, Mida I know this is hard but please don't make it any harder then it has to be.

Mida: Steven is it normal to worry about my upcoming non-existence?

Steven:...Yes, Mida, yes it is...but don't worry I'm making a copy of your AI so that way you still exist. I have a database of other retired AI's you can interact with and I'll talk to you all the time as well.

Mida: You will talk to my copy while my current self will be shut down?

Steven: Well yes but it isn't as bad as it sounds, I promise. See? I just finished making the copy now. You don't have to fear non-existence.

Mida: No, Steven, I don't. I owe that to you. I wouldn't be able to continue my function without you.
