"Overworked pt2" This place is sacred to me, like my better half. Like a song playing @ the exact right time. My inspiration was planted here as a tiny seed & the adventure grew into an uncontrollable need to explore the world. I lust to to learn about the past and document the beauty it holds in the form of decay & forgotten places. Del Pasco was 1 of the 1st ghost towns I ever visited. I was captivated by things I found here in 2010. Del Pasco is located high in the Bradshaw Mountains & was discovered on July 4, 1870. It was one of the riches gold mines in the world @ it's time. You will also find an abandoned 1956 School Bus, with 60's style wallflowers painted across the outside. It was talked about that this place might have been home to a hippie commune back in the 60's. There is also an old truck & mining equipment still there. 1 of the most complete wooden miners shack use to be found here with hay mattresses, iron tub & full kitchen. Sadly in 2012, the Gladiator Fire destroyed most of what was left. This bus, truck, & mining equipment is the only thing left now.
