Talk Hard Welcomes Nifer Honeycutt, Ian Abramson and Musical Guest, Abbaria!

Talk Hard Media, November 15, 2013: This Friday at midnight, Talk Hard, Chicago’s hit late-night, uncensored talk show is proud to welcome Nifer Honeycutt. Nifer is a fanfiction author and graduate of the Second City Conservatory in Chicago. She spends her days teaching science at The Museum of Science and Industry Chicago, and once had the distinct pleasure of giving a train tour to one of her comedy idols, Dan Aykroyd. In her free time, Nifer enjoys reading X-Files fanfiction (she gave up writing it when she was 16), formulating To-Do lists, and generally panicking about anything and everything. Hear Nifer’s tales of fanfiction culture live on the Talk Hard stage.

Also joining the show is comedian, Ian Abramson. Ian Abramson does not exist, but his lifelong dream is to do so, at least part-time. Until then, he performs whenever and wherever. His favorite place to perform is here, and his favorite time to perform is the Middle Ages. He's very excited to be here tonight because last night he wasn't anywhere at all and voids make him feel empty inside. Also, because he produces Double Feature at the Lincoln Lodge, which has both stand-up and short films. If you like his performance you can see him in the mirror, because he lives inside all of us. When your eye itches, that's him.

Rounding out the evening is musical guest, Abbaria. Abbaria is a band. A serious band with serious people and lyrics and stuff. Abbaria is one half Maria Wojciechowski and one half Abby Vatterott. They play with musical instruments: string, percussion, inanimate objects, mammals, and human vocal cords. If you like an array of music genres, this serious band is for you.

As always, this show is live and uncensored, hosted by the unpredictable Jamie Campbell, and written by a staff that was hand-picked from Chicago’s world famous comedy scene.
